12/21 - A Jets fan that I met (on Twitter) sent me these two pictures of the New Meadowlands Stadium in 2010.

12/14 - Sent out a few Christmas Cards to some of the Jets employees who help out the Fan Club almost every year. Will bring to Hammerjacks if I get anything back in return.
12/13 - The one-day trip to Tampa Bay was long but loaded with fun, especially after a Jets victory. Prior to the game, the New York Jets Fan Club of Tampa Bay held a huge tailgate party with over 300 Jets fans. It was a blast!! I personally met the president of the New York Jets, Woody Johnson, and he told me "good to have you and thanks for the support"! Here are some pictures from the tailgate party, game and after the game too.
11/30 - Sent out Leon Washington's card and I'd like to thank those who signed it!
I still have Kris Jenkins card to be signed and it'll be available at Hammerjacks for the Bengals game since there are only 20 members who signed it and would like to get it filled before I send it out to him.

11/17 - I hope that you enjoyed having Vinny Testaverde present at Hammerjacks for a little more than two hours on Sunday and I thought he was GREAT.

7/28 - Club Game Trip # 1 = A total of nine members (including myself) attended the Titans game on September 27, 2009. We sat in Section 117! I was given Stadium Club passes and we all enjoyed the environment there. We had a GREAT TIME!! See pictures from the weekend in New York and Jets Game

We had a total of 24 members attending the game! Only eleven (11) went with a 14-passenger van. Twenty-two (22) of us sat in Section 339 and the other two (2) will be in Section 331!! All on the JETS side!!

- 4/7/09 The Bowling To Read Tournament w/Lito Sheppard
* Too bad that you weren't able to attend because it was a great time, watching football players do something other then play football on the field
* Lito is a good bowler, with a nice hook too. Funny moment, he went to get a two-pin spare on the left, he released and turned around, thinking he missed it and ended up getting the spare
* He travels to NJ on the weekdays, then comes to South Florida over the weekends
* Thought the Jets needed a WR
* He said the defense will be fine, even with the new players and coaches
- 1/20/09 - mailed out the donation of $100 to the Jerricho Cotchery Foundation and if I get any correspondece back from them, I'll let you know. Also sending Jerricho a Club shirt and cap, once I find out his size.
Update 2/17 - Finally received email notification that the check has been received and here is the letter I received from the Foundation (below).
Update - 8/3 Confimed with Jerricho that he did receive his Club shirt/hat.
- I'd like to thank those who've signed up to the website. If you haven't yet, go ahead and do so. We want to represent big time even though we're 1,300 miles away.

SUNDAY'S ACTIVITIES
I'll be at Hammerjacks and be ready to go. I don't know about you but I'm very excited about this game! I think you know why too!! :) I always tell people/fans that I meet that all the members are dedicated Jets fans so don't fail me now.
- I think you know why I tell you to come early because Hammerjack's fills up pretty fast. Hammerjacks opens their doors at 11am. Try to come EARLY because it makes things easy for the Fan Club and Hammerjacks.
- The Club also has a a Media Board that is located by our game day table. Just bring in your business card so I can post it for you. This way, other members know what you do for a living and might be able to help you out too. We have people who are doctors, lawyers and even have bail bondsmen too. Take advantage of this because it's FREE ADVERTISING!
- RAFFLE PRIZES
The cost of the raffle is only $1. VERY IMPORTANT: I ask you to purchase your tickets before the game, during commercial breaks and at halftime! The drawing will take place either at the end of the 3rd quarter or the beginning of the fourth quarter, depending how busy it is at Hammerjack's.
For every three raffles tickets that you buy, you get one free!! So, if you buy six, you get two free, buy nine, get three free. So on and so forth! Here are the GREAT prizes for Week 16 and GOOD LUCK:
#1 - Jets Car Mats
#2 - Jets Curtis Martin Game Worn Bobblehead (limited edition)
#3 - Jets Ranger Helicopter (Limited edition)
I was told that Manny will have some gift cards from his video store for me to raffle off too!
The drawing will be done in reverse order so that the #1 prize will be the last drawing.
Prizes are subject to change and what I mean by this is, I might add a 4th prize or change an item if I don't receive it in time for the game.
You must be present to claim your prize!
- GAME DAY FOOTBALL POOL
The cost of a box is $2, with a chance to win some nice pocket change (or at least enough to pay for your bill at Hammerjack's, plus more) each quarter. Just write your first name and the initial of your last name inside the box. PRINT CLEARLY!
The last four weeks we were unable to conduct the football pool due to a shortage of members. Lets try to to get it done for the last two games.
This year I'll be pulling $5 from each quarter, for each game (I'm there) and putting it aside in it's own separate fund. I'll be donating it to various Organizations, Foundations and will be letting you know ecxactly the amount and the Foundation that I'll be sending it to. I've contacted the Boomer Esiason Foundation and it looks like the Club will be donating to his cause and possibly the Kerry Rhodes Foundation too.
So you'll still have a chance to win $45 a quarter.
If there's a tie at the end of the game, the fourth quarter prize money will be decided on the score at the end of the game!
- YEAR END RAFFLE DRAWING
Autographed Jets football with 33 signatures (i.e Thmas Jones, D'Brichashaw Ferguson, Jerricho Cotchery, Kris Jenkins, Jay Feely). See below.
This will also be a $1 and the drawing will take place at the END OF THE SEASON. You can purchase as many as you want to during the season. Just complete a white numbered information ticket (get from Rob) and place the half inside the white bucket, right by the Club's game day table. You don't have to be present to WIN! All monies will go to the Club's funds.
OTHER ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR THE YEAR
1.) A group photo outside of Hammerjack's. Either during halftime or at the end of the game. Bring whatever you need (pennants, flags, footballs, banners, signs) to make the photo more enjoyable. Still haven't done this and just waiting for the right day! Need a good amount of fans! I will make an annoucement that day!

I'd like to welcome David H. & Joelle J. to the South Florida Jets Fan Club. I hope you guys enjoyed yourself and love to see you guys back there cheering on our team with the largest Jets Fan Club on the east coast.
HAMMERJACK'S
- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! THERE WILL BE NO RESEVED TABLES ANY LONGER. IT'LL BE AT A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. NO SAVING SEATS EITHER! YOU JUST NEED TO GET THERE EARLY!! THE ONLY SEATS I'LL BE SAVING ARE FOR TONY L., WHO OPERATES THE SIREN AND LIGHTS AND DAVID M. WHO IS OUR JETS CHANTER!
- I spoke to the new Food and Beverage manager from Hammerjacks (Gary) about various things that I'm aware of that would need improvement (service, cold conditions, fix TV's, seating, menu and the possibilty to have a buffet)and he wants to make our day more enjoyable. He's willing to accomodate us with whatever we need. So let me know if you have any complaints.
- When you walk into Hammerjack's on game day, you'll see the first five or six rows of low tables white tableclothes. Anyone may sit there, the high top tables behind the low tables or you may sit by the bar. So you have your choice, as to where you'd like to sit.
- Hammerjacks will be offering you a special Buffet in a few weeks, something other than what already appears on the Club's discounted menu and their regular menu too. When I find out more, I'll let you know.
11/17 - Did up a new discounted menu for the Fan Club and Hammerjacks will try to have it for you this season.
- There are two huge wall TV screens (front and back of the bar) and our game is always on the front screen of the bar (with plenty of volume) and a couple of other TV's too!
- If you invite a friend/relative to Hammerjack's that's a fan of the opposing team, the best thing for you guys is to sit at the high tops or near the bar. We have some serious Jets fans that sit up front and they don't want to be antagonized/disturbed, which can lead to altercations and I definitely don't want to see that!! We just all want to enjoy the game and that's it! Thanks for your cooperation in advance regarding this.
JETS NEXT GAME AND OPPONENT
WOW, what a game by GANG GREEN!! They showed us what they can do by beating the undefeated Indianapolis Colts.
If the Jets beat the Bengals they move on into the playoffs and probably will end up playing the Bengals again.
TO YOU, THE FAN, the following not only goes for this game but for every game during the season!
Come, enjoy and watch YOUR FAVORITE TEAM, WIN!! There's nothing like it when we're altogether as one, wanting the same result and when we get it, IT'S TREMENDOUS! REMEMBER, don't let the game interfere with the fun you can have with your fellow members!!
I try my best to make your four or five hours fun and enjoyable because it makes me happy to see a smile on your face!
